Sundeep Sikka is the new AMFI Chairman

Sandesh Kirkire, CEO of Kotak Mutual Fund is the new Vice Chairman of AMFI.

AMFI has named Reliance Mutual Fund’s CEO Sundeep Sikka as its new Chairman at its Annual General Meeting (AGM) held in Mumbai yesterday.

Sandesh Kirkire, CEO of Kotak Mutual Fund has been named the new Vice Chairman of AMFI.

Sundeep Sikka was appointed as the Vice Chairman of AMFI in 2011 while HDFC Mutual Fund’s CEO, Milind Barve was appointed Chairman after U K Sinha joined SEBI. Milind Barve will continue to remain Director on the board of AMFI.

Jimmy Patel, CEO, Quantum Mutual Fund and Aashish P. Somaiyaa, CEO, Motilal Oswal have been named as the new Directors by AMFI. AMFI has 15 directors including Chairman and the Vice Chairman.
