HDFC AMC has recorded 6% growth in its net profits to reach Rs.364 crore in July-Sep 2022. In the corresponding quarter last year, profit after tax was Rs.345 crore.
In April-June 2022, HDFC AMC recorded net profit of Rs.314 crore indicating 10% growth in its quarterly profit. Revenue from operations increased 7% to Rs. 493 crore from Rs. 461 crore in the same period of FY 2022.
The company said that the AMC has a 11% share in the mutual fund market with an average AUM of Rs. 4.29 lakh crore.
In a press release, the company said, “Quarterly Average AUM in actively managed equity-oriented funds i.e. equity assets excluding index funds stood at Rs.2.11 lakh crore for the quarter ended September 30, 2022 with a market share of 11.5%. The AMC is amongst the largest actively managed equity-oriented mutual fund managers in the country. The ratio of equity oriented AUM and non-equity oriented closing AUM is 54:46 compared to the industry ratio of 50:50 as on September 30, 2022.”
The fund house has over 61 lakh unique investors as on September 2022 with live SIP accounts of over 1 crore.
