Roorkee MFD Gaurav Giri is a passionate cyclist. He goes for a long cycling trip every weekend.
Gaurav participated in our ongoing series "My Hidden Talent" to showcase his cycling abilities. ‘My Hidden Talent’ is an exciting platform for the people associated with the MF industry to showcase their special talent. Through this initiative, we celebrate every talent - baking, calligraphy, dance, mimicry, origami, painting, pottery, singing, sketching, stand-up and so on.
Recently, Gaurav covered 154 km on his bicycle in just 6:24 hours. In this ride, he covered four major cities - Roorkee, Dehradun, Rishikesh and Haridwar. This month, he plans to ride another 100 km.
Gaurav says, "Cycling not only relaxes me, it keeps me happy. I started cycling in 2018. Now, I have a group of 30 cyclists called Pedal Hard”, he said.
Gaurav has been associated with the mutual fund industry for the last 5 years.
