B Rajendran has been promoted to Executive Director of SEBI.
Rajendran will handle Corporation Finance Investigation Department (CFID), Alternative Investment Fund (AIF) and Foreign Portfolio Investors Department (AFD).
Prior to his promotion, Rajendran was Chief General Manager at SEBI and handled several assignments since joining in 1996.
Rajendran has conceptualized SEBI Complaints Redress System (SCORES).
He was associated with various SEBI Committees including Alternative Investment Policy Advisory Committee (AIPAC).
Rajendran is a Cost Accountant and holds M.Com., B.A. (Corporate Secretaryship) and P.G. Diploma in Securities Laws from Government Law College, Mumbai.
