Noida MFD Akta Sehgal, Founder of Manas Wealth and Motherhood Club recently launched a book titled, ‘Umeedo Ka Indradhanush’, which is a compilation of poems written by cancer patients, survivors and their supporters.
Notably, 100% of the sales amount is earmarked for the medical treatment of women/children cancer patient from an underprivileged background.
Priced at Rs. 250, the Motherhood Club has already sold 183 copies.
Through this book, Akta along with Ila Pachauri, Chief Happiness Officer, Motherhood Club and Oncologist Dr Indu Bansal compiled 101 poems.
Akta said, “The book is a mix of Hindi and English poems that signify hope, faith and strength. It inspires every reader to courageously face testing times and find the light at the end of the tunnel. Our readers share that the book taught them to overcome adversities and take better charge of life situations”, added Akta.
Interestingly, the MFD has also contributed to the book as one of the poets.
