R&T Sundaram BNP Paribas Fund Services has introduced a new format of the brokerage summary statement for distributors of Sundaram Mutual Fund.
One of the new feature that this statement carries is a graph of the AUM based on categories (equity, debt and so on) and a bar chart depicting the net inflows /outflows during the financial year for every quarter.
The statement provides comprehensive details to the distributor - both static and dynamic
The dynamic data carries a summary of the commission paid for the month by fund class – equity, debt, or liquid. The statement shows details like upfront, trail fee, long term trail fee, incentive, deductions; withheld commission if any, what has been paid for the NFO and the actual commission paid post tax. This will match the cheque amount or the amount credited directly to the bank account of the distributor.
The next section has the AUM along with the inflow and outflow and the net new cash. The AUM is bifurcated between regular and SIP. Also included in this is the AUM as contributed by the top 3 schemes.
There is information on the standing instruction (SI) given by the top 10 investors along with a summary of the SI transactions to show newly registered SIs, cancelled and the net active SIs as on a particular date.
More importantly, with a view to improve sales for the distributor, the statement gives additional details of the top 10 SIP holders whose SIP is due for renewal in the next 3 months.
.The static data contains, among other details, the address, bank details, distributor self-certificate (DSC) provided by the distributor for the last seven years, mode of payment and empanelment details.
