AMFI data shows that the MF industry received net SIP inflows of Rs. 43,801 crore in April-September 2022 as against Rs.16,405 crore in April-Sept 2021, a growth of close to 60% in just a year.
Overall, net to gross inflow ratio also improved from 28% to 59% signifying stronger investor conviction in mutual funds and lower redemptions.
During FY 2022-23, the highest inflows were received in June 2022 (Rs. 8,600 crore) followed by Rs. 8,155 crore in May 2022. August 2022 recorded the least inflows of Rs. 6,130 crore.

Equity schemes received Rs. 5,325 crore inflows in SIPs, the highest across categories.
In the case of lumpsum, other schemes i.e. FOF-Domestic took a lead with Rs. 13,930 crore. Equity schemes received the next highest inflows of Rs. 8,753 crore.
