US based Fiserv, provider of information management and electronic commerce systems for the financial services industry claims that its advisory platform ‘AdvisorVision’ can generate a sophisticated financial plan in 15 minutes or less, thereby reducing cost of maintaining own planning tools, back office expenses, staff support etc.
Sanjay Sarkar, VP, Fiserv International told Cafemutual, “AdvisorVision is a highly flexible and configurable platform built on the latest financial technology. It is designed to make financial professionals more effective in all aspects of serving their clients, including client relationship management, household financial planning, investment proposals, portfolio construction and asset allocation.”
AdvisorVision was designed and developed specifically to improve workflow efficiency, increase productivity and enhance client relationships. It provides online solutions for various financial goals such as retirement planning, wealth education, child education, buy a home or buy a car. It works on Microsoft interface making it easier to understand and can be integrated with existing data base.
Once the IFA feeds client data, the platform will generate risk profiling, asset allocation, portfolio building and product recommendations. Through this, advisers can manage any number of model portfolios without increasing their team size. Advisors can adjust the model portfolio over time for a more accurate cash flow.
Apart from financial advisers, other financial institutions like banks, national distributors that provide financial advisory services canuse this service for their business.
In US, Fiserv maintains more than one million model portfolios under AdvisorVision. The platform was launched in India six months back. The service is offered on a hosted subscription based model. A single advisor license is currently priced between Rs 30,000 and Rs 50,000 (excluding taxes) per annum.
The software provides of a host of features like portfolio construction and asset allocation, fund recommendation, extensive monte carlo simulations, pre-defined “What-if” scenarios, client relationship management (Alerts and Triggers), customized client report, among others.
