AMFI has overhauled its website by adding new features, an attractive design and a user friendly interface to provide information with a slice of education, latest updates and market commentary.
“In an effort to provide a more user friendly interface and empowering experience to people, we have revamped the website,” said HN Sinor, CEO AMFI. He told Cafemutual that the website has been revamped after five years.
A new feature called ‘Expert speak’ which is yet to start will carry views and market commentary of CEOs, Fund Managers and senior industry officials. “We are of the view that this section will guide investors with latest developments and trends of the industry,” Sinor added.
According to V Ramesh, Deputy CEO, AMFI, “Initially, AMFI’s website focused on information. However, this time, our aim is to provide information along with education. We have made some changes and introduced additional features like Expert speak and Fundoo to educate investors about mutual fund investments. Also, we have given an inspirational quote and picture on our homepage cuing how mutual funds can help investors to achieve their financial goals.”
The revamped website has NFO, intermediary section, research and information zones on its homepage. Earlier, these sections were hosted inside the information zone. As part of its investors awareness initiative, AMFI has introduced an animated character called Fundoo. Fundoo explains basic concept and significance of mutual funds to the new investors and financial jargon in an easy and simple way.
Another newly added feature is called web help which is meant to resolve issues related to site navigation. Investors can access trouble shooting algorithms as per their browsers through this section.
