Pune MFD Hiten Shah recently created a group exclusively for individual MFDs under 40 years of age.
Sharing the rationale, Hiten said, “The MF industry has evolved over time. While most of the young MFDs are equipped with new-age technology, they haven’t witnessed this evolution closely. Here is where the guidance and business learnings of our veteran MFDs become important.”
In this context, Hiten created a group for young MFDs to learn from the wisdom and experience of veteran MFDs.
He said, “I made a list of MFDs in Pune aged below 40 and individually reached out to them with the concept of being fellow learners. What started with informal sessions over coffee, gradually shaped into formal monthly series.”
Hiten invites experienced MFDs to talk on pertinent topics like client acquisition, dealing with NRI clients and regulatory compliance amongst others.
