Dinesh Kumar Khara has been appointed as the new MD & CEO of SBI MF, said a press release issued by the company. Deepak Chatterjee is now an Advisor to the fund house.
Khara joined State Bank of India as a Probationary Officer in 1984.His most recent stint was in the capacity of CGM Bhopal Circle in SBI. In his 29 years with SBI, he has handled many important assignments like GM Associates & Subsidiaries and GM Chennai Circle. He has also contributed his services to various operations of commercial banking such as Retail Credit, SME/Corporate Credit, deposit mobilization, international banking operations, branch management, etc.
As GM in Associates and Subsidiaries department of SBI Corporate Centre, Khara worked closely with all the subsidiaries of SBI including SBI Mutual Fund. He was also involved in the induction of AMUNDI, the JV partner.
