    SBI, HDFC and ICICI Prudential secure top spots in B30 rankings

    These three fund houses collectively manage over Rs. 3 lakh crore of B30 assets.

    SBI MF, HDFC MF and ICICI Prudential MF are the top three fund houses in terms of B30 assets, as per AMFI data.

    SBI MF leads by a wide margin to occupy the first spot. The fund house manages Rs. 1.46 lakh crore of B30 assets as on March 2023. HDFC MF and ICICI Prudential occupy the next two spots with a B30 asset base of Rs. 79,173 crore and Rs. 77,058 crore each.

    Nippon India MF and UTI MF manage Rs. 55,680 crore and Rs. 52,583 crore and rank fourth and fifth, respectively.

    The next top five fund houses are Aditya Birla Sun Life MF (Rs. 44,846 crore), Axis MF (Rs. 42,658 crore), Kotak MF (Rs. 30,553 crore), Tata MF (Rs. 16,940 crore) and Mirae Asset MF (Rs. 16,909 crore) in the said order.

    In percentage terms, six fund houses have 25% or more of their assets in B30 cities. These are Union MF (32%), IDBI MF (31%), NJ MF (26%), ITI MF (25%), quant MF (25%) and Mahindra Manulife MF (25%).

    In totality, the top 30 fund houses have 17% (Rs. 6.81 lakh crore) of their total assets (Rs. 39.86 lakh crore) in B30 cities.    

    Ranking Methodology

    For our analysis, we have considered the top 30 fund houses in terms of quarterly average total AUM as on March 2023. These fund houses are then ranked based on their monthly average AUM in B30 cities as on March 2023.

    Mutual fund registerer CAMS digital system aotomatic vanished some Folios, some redeemed are not trased mismathed with Bank accounts.
    Why not audited the systems. Customers are facing trouble.
