    HDFC MF discontinues lumpsum investment in its newly launched defence fund

    The fund house has also discontinued investment through STPs.

    HDFC Mutual Fund has discontinued lumpsum investment in its newly launched thematic fund – HDFC Defence Fund.

    The fund house will not accept lumpsum investment even through switch transactions and STPs. However, STPs registered before June 12 will be honoured, clarified the fund house.

    The fund house clarified that investors can continue to invest up to Rs.10,000 through SIP route.

    HDFC Defence Fund invest in defence & allied sector companies that has collected close to Rs.1000 crore during its NFO. Currently, there are 22 stocks under this category and majority of them are small cap companies.
