SEBI Chairperson Madhabi Puri Buch has confirmed that the market regulator will bring a fresh  consultation paper on rationalisation of TER.

Madhabi said that the MF industry has demonstrated that economy of scale has been achieved over the last five years. Further, there was a lot of granular data that has come to the market regulator and SEBI has been modifying the existing proposals based on these data points.

The SEBI Chairperson hinted that the new proposals will be released soon and it will bring cheer to the MF industry. She said, “We modified the proposals and I think the industry would be quite pleased to see the new proposals.”

Keeping in view very low Commission to Distributors it is difficult for new Distributor to make their venture viable.
Government must consider some incentive with AUM below 5 Cr.

All are playing. SEBI, AMFI AND AMCs are not giving our right B30. Based on your word, we belived and done more SIPs. Now we are not getting. It is injustice. Within a 6 months time , we know how to diversify and look to another segment. Now most of us changed from full time MFD to part time MFD

How many days OR months will take it for bringing new consultation paper on TER & B30 incentive structure. already 5 months gone after abeyance of B30 incentive. which is affecting the day to day cost in B30 cities, any one bothering about B30 MFDs ? AMC's are silent on this matter and its also a negative move by the SEBI on B30 cities..
