Cafemutual is set to hold its maiden event Cafemutual IFA program (CIFA) designed exclusively for IFAs on February 14 in Mumbai.
Themed ‘Grow Your Business, Regardless of Markets’, the day-long program aims to equip IFAs with the necessary ideas and strategies to build a sustainable business that is not dependent on market conditions for growth.
According to Anita Sutrave, EVP and Business Head, Cafemutual, “As has been seen, the business of many IFAs shrinks when markets are down. In fact the less committed IFAs abandon the field and turn to other activities. But it need not be so. By building a stronger practice built on the trust of their clients, it is possible for IFAs to thrive in all market conditions. In order to strengthen their skills, we have developed the agenda for this event and lined up speakers with years of expertise.”
Most IFAs rely on referrals to expand their client base. Some IFAs, however, do not have a systematic approach to getting clients through referrals. Prem Khatri, Founder & CEO, Cafemutual will take a session on ‘How to grow business through referrals’.
A growing body of evidence has pointed to the value of staying connected with clients. Various studies across the world have confirmed that business from existing clients is a lot more profitable than business acquired from new clients. One of industry’s most respected financial planners, Gaurav Mashruwala will share his secrets on how to build and sustain client relationships.
Just like any other business, your practice also requires proper planning and execution. Sumeet Vaid, Founder & CEO Ffreedom Financial Planners will share insights on how IFAs can set goals and make plans.
Many IFAs are discovering the power of seminars in acquiring new clients. One of India’s best known trainers, Amit Trivedi of Karmayog will take a session on how to conduct seminars effectively.
No investment/mutual fund event for IFAs can be complete without a session on markets. At CIFA, some of India’s top investment minds - Anoop Bhaskar, Prashant Jain, Sankaran Naren and Santosh Kamath will share their views and perspectives on the markets.
Around 400 IFAs are expected to gather at the event.
