AMFI data shows that Nippon India MF, ICICI Prudential MF and SBI MF are the top three fund houses in terms of number of folios as on July 2023.
Nippon India Mutual MF has over 2 crore folios as on July 2023, the highest across fund houses. The fund house has added over 20 lakh new folios in the last one year.
ICICI Pru MF and SBI MF followed Nippon India MF with folio count of 1.70 crore and 1.27 crore as on July 2023, respectively.
Also, HDFC MF, Axis MF and UTI MF are among the fund houses having more than 1 crore MF folios.
Further, the data reveals that HDFC MF, Nippon India MF and ICICI Pru MF have seen highest growth in terms of number of new folios. HDFC MF added over 23 lakh folios in the last one year.
In percentage terms, HSBC MF and quant MF saw the highest growth of 838% and 155% respectively. The significant growth in HSBC MF’s folio is due to acquisition of L&T MF.
