The Bangalore based body of financial planners was set up in April 2013.
Bangalore based financial planners association – Council of Financial Planners (COFP) is holding its first annual convention to commemorate the completion of one year of its journey.
The event to be held in Bangalore on April 05 is expected to attract a gathering of around 200 practitioners.
Themed as ‘Financial Planning - Challenges & Opportunities’ the event will have speakers like Bibek Debroy, Professor, Centre for Policy Research, Delhi, Dheeraj Vasishth, Co-founder of Ameretat Technologies, Ajay Prabhu, CEO, KVP Business Solution, among others.
“We have invited experts from non-finance background to learn and implement their ideas in our practice. We’ll also have a session on old age planning,” said Dilshad Billimoria, Joint Treasurer, COFP.
Financial Planning, Retirement Planning, Investment Planning, Practice Management, Sales & Marketing, Technology and Professional Development are some of the subjects on which speakers will deliberate.
COFP was formed in April 2013 and it currently has 75 members.
