    Old Bridge MF forays into MF business with focussed fund

    Old Bridge Focused Equity Fund will invest in 30 stocks.

    Kenneth Andrade’s Old Bridge Mutual Fund has forayed into MF business by filing a draft offer document for its first fund in the focussed fund category - Old Bridge Focused Equity Fund. 

    The fund will invest in 30 stocks across market capitalization. The fund will benchmark its performance against S&P BSE 500 TRI.

    While the minimum application size is Rs.5000 through lumpsum, it will be a minimum of Rs.2500 for SIP investors. 

    Kenneth Andrade and Tarang Agrawal will co-manage the fund. Further, Ruchi Pandey will spearhead the fund house as the CEO.

    Finally the devil is back. Since Kenneth left erstwhile IDFC Mutual Fund,Now Bandhan MF, the fund house could not recapture it's past glory. The void Kenneth's Exit created in the mindset of Distributors and Investors alike the fund house could not assuage that despite repeated image makeover attempts. The only worry is whether Kenneth's OldBridge can reignite the interest and mindshare he once had.
