    India Infoline Mutual Fund appoints Prashasta Seth as CEO

    Gopinath Natarajan, the present CEO of IIFL AMC will head equity advisory services of IIFL Group.

    India Infoline Asset Management Company announced the appointment of Prashasta Seth as its new Chief Executive Officer.

    Gopinath Natarajan, the present CEO of IIFL AMC, will now head equity advisory services of IIFL Group.

    Prashasta has a PGDBM from IIM Ahmedabad and a B.Tech from IIT Kanpur and has over fourteen years of industry experience. He has been with IIFL Group for the last six years, managing and advising pooled assets and client portfolios specifically focusing on developing investment strategies, generating stock ideas and creating actionable research reports.

    Prior to joining IIFL Group he was heading Irevna (an S&P Company engaged in financial research & analytics). Earlier to that he was with JP Morgan, London and was responsible for structuring collateralized debt obligations (CDOs).

    Karan Bhagat, Director of IIFL AMC said “We are pleased at the appointment of Prashasta as CEO of IIFL AMC. Prashasta brings with him rich experience of managing PMS and asset management business. This will enable scaling up of IIFL AMC’s business in the area of managing pooled investments through Mutual Funds & Alternative Investment Funds.”

    IIFL Mutual Fund started its operations in 2011 and manages Rs. 234 crore as on March 2014.
