The Chennai based R&T received International Standards for Assurance Engagements (ISAE) Type II certification for quality in operating model and control systems.
Sundaram BNP Paribas Fund Services has bagged the International Standards for Assurance Engagements (ISAE) Type II certification for high quality operating models and effective controls, said a press release issued by the company.
Sundaram BNP Paribas Fund Services has the unique distinction of being the only RTA (registrar and transfer agent) in the country to have been awarded the ISAE Type II certification for high quality operating models and effective controls, added the release.
Commenting on the certification, Shridhar Iyer, Chief Executive Officer, Sundaram BNP Paribas Fund Services said, “We always want our customers to experience higher standards of quality than offered by the market. The certification is a reflection of our commitment to that philosophy. What it means to our customers is better quality data, richer experience and basically, a reassurance on the effectiveness of the design and controls of the operating model. Sundaram BNP Paribas Fund Services had already completed its assessment for ISAE Type I certification in the year 2013.”
The company has been working with its clients on various new initiatives related to investor engagement, brokerages, improving the delivery time for dividend payouts and will shortly launch its versatile mobile solution platform, said the release.
Sundaram BNP Paribas Fund Services is a joint venture between Sundaram Finance and BNP Paribas Securities Services.
