Akshay Gupta, Chief Executive Officer of Peerless Mutual Fund has put in his papers. His last day at Peerless was on April 30.
Akshay Gupta was heading sales and distribution at ICICI Prudential Mutual Fund from 2002- 2007 before he joined Peerless.
Though it is not confirmed where Akshay is heading, sources said that he may join Indiabulls Mutual Fund as its Chief Executive Officer. After Sanjay Chandel left Indiabulls in April, Raju Sharma, Head of Fixed Income was appointed as the interim CEO of the fund house.
Peerless Mutual Fund is likely to make an official announcement about the appointment of its new Managing Director & Chief Executive Officer soon.
