This International Women’s Day, Cafemutual will launch a new video interview series ‘Breaking Barriers, Building Wealth’ that will focus on bringing in women investors and managing their expectations.
The series will feature leading women MFDs/RIAs and MF professionals who will share their insights on breaking stereotypes and empowering women with financial independence.
Sharing the rationale, Prem Khatri, Founder and CEO, Cafemutual said that the initiative aims to bring in more women investors to the MF fold. He said, “A variety of topics will be covered in this series including managing and on boarding women clients, how to bridge the gap between participation of men and women in the financial markets, what are the key reasons for gap between genders regarding finances and how to deal with the stereotype that finance is a men’s thing.”
Anita Sutrave, Deputy CEO, Cafemutual added that Cafemutual will also feature subject matter experts who will share their tips on how to create financial awareness among women investors and how to actively include them into the mutual fund space.
The first episode will go live on March 7 in which we will feature Roopa Venkatkrishnan, Director, Sapient Wealth and Secretary, Foundation of Independent Financial Associates (FIFA).
Roopa is one of the leading behavioral investment counsellors in India. She started her career in financial services industry in 1991 and takes pride in creating HNIs and spreading financial literacy.
