An analysis of 1-year performance across debt fund categories reveals that credit risk funds, gilt 10-year duration funds and long duration funds were the top three fund categories in terms of 1-year performance.
Among all the categories, credit risk funds category delivered highest 1-year average CAGR of 7.81%. While gilt 10-year duration funds category stood second with 1-year average CAGR of 7.52%, long duration fund category captured third position in the 1-year performance list with average return of 7.26%.
Money market funds and liquid funds were the next two fund categories with average CAGR of 7.02% and 6.92%, respectively.
