What’s the first thing you do when you get home from work?
If I’m home on time, I enjoy a cup of tea, freshen up, and then relax with some music or TV. Most importantly, I spend quality time with my wife and son.
Are you more of a homebody, or do you enjoy going out after hours?
During weekdays, I’m very much a homebody. Weekends, however, are for stepping out and unwinding.
What’s your guilty pleasure after a tough day—binge-watching shows, picking up a book, or something else?
It’s usually watching TV or listening to music. On some days, music takes over, and I can lose myself in it for hours.
How do you prefer to unwind? A quiet night in or a social evening out with friends?
Both, depending on the mood and occasion. We have a great circle of friends, so from Friday onwards, it’s usually about meeting them—dinners, get-togethers and outings. But Sunday nights are strictly for winding down. On weekdays, it’s more about hosting close friends at home or spending time at theirs.
What’s your favourite comfort food or drink at the end of the day?
Simple, home-cooked meals—dal chawal, roti sabzi, or a light fish curry. And of course, a good cup of tea.
If you could trade lives with anyone for a day, who would it be and why?
Honestly, I wouldn’t trade lives with anyone. I’m content with the life I’m building and the journey I’m on.
What’s a childhood memory that still brings a smile to your face?
School days—especially getting punished, which, admittedly, happened quite often! My close school friends and I still reminisce about those moments, and they never fail to bring a smile to our face.
What’s the last thing you binge-watched or couldn’t stop talking about?
Black Warrant and Paatal Lok. I binge watched Paatal Lok in a day.
What’s a hobby you’ve always wanted to take up but haven’t yet?
One day, I will learn to play the bass guitar for sure. It’s been on my list for a long time.
What are your resolutions for this year?
I have three main resolutions for the year: stick to my financial goals, continue my travels and work harder this year.
