Quantum AMC launches Quantum Dynamic Bond Fund
Quantum AMC launched an open ended equity scheme, Quantum Dynamic Bond Fund (QDBF). The investment objective of the fund is to generate income and capital appreciation through active management of portfolio consisting of short term and long term debt and money market instruments.
The NFO opens on 29th April, 2015 and closes on 13th May, 2015. It reopens on 25th may, 2015. The Fund will primarily invest in Government Securities and PSU Bonds/ instruments which are rated AAA /AA and so forth, thereby minimizing credit risk, as stated in the press release issued by the company.
Murthy Nagarajan is the fund manager of the scheme. “With the volatile equity market and high interest rate we believe this is the most favorable time for investors to invest in QDBF. Long term bond yields are on downward trajectory, making Risk-Return profile favorable for bonds,” he said.
The Quantum Dynamic Bond Fund offers Growth, Dividend Payout and Dividend Reinvestment options with no lock in period; therefore investors are free to withdraw investment anytime.
