Business Standard has carried a PTI report that says that SEBI will soon come out with regulations for advisors
According to the report, SEBI on Tuesday said it would bring out norms for regulating the role of investment advisors soon. “We have received very detailed feedback and we are undergoing a process of discussion. We will shortly come out with regulations (on investment advisors),” said SEBI wholetime member, Prashant Saran.
Recently, SEBI had issued a concept paper on regulation of distributors that suggested sweeping changes in the way financial products are to be sold in the country.
