Stocks are down. Thinking of exiting equity mutual funds?
Do you have patience while investing? Or are you an eager beaver who gets carried away by the short-term returns and sees no logic in staying invested for the long term? A majority of investors watch the markets go up and down day after day and count their profits/losses on a daily basis. They tend to look only at the short-term performance and if the returns are not good, they get frustrated and sell off when the scrip makes a nominal profit. I would say, it is extremely easy to buy with a rationale but it needs a lot of control over emotions to sell rationally.
