Tata AIA Life Insurance has launched a ULIP focussing on small cap stocks - Tata AIA Small Cap Discovery Fund.

The fund aims to generate capital appreciation in the long-term by investing in small-cap stocks.

In a press release, Harshad Patil, EVP and CIO, Tata AIA Life Insurance, said, “The government is focused on formalising the economy during the Amrit Kaal, which will benefit small businesses immensely. Further, growth in consumption demand, rising disposable income and support for manufacturing will catalyse several smaller companies to become dominant in their sectors. Given these forces, there is a great opportunity to maximise their investment by spotting such opportunities early and investing in them over the medium to long term.”

Tata AIA Life manages AUM of Rs.75,000 crore as on May, 2023.

Interesting! Tata Small Cap fund is restricting inflows. And Tata Life is launching Small Cap ULIP.
New investors are confused whether to buy small cap fund or not. But here even the company seems to be confused. As a distributor, you must read between the lines to save your clients.

Again "miss selling with confusion creation" will start as previous!
