    Saroj Dikhale to join LIC Nomura MF as its CEO

    She is likely to succeed Nilesh Sathe who has been appointed as the Member (Life) at IRDAI.

    Saroj Dikhale, Executive Director, LIC is to join LIC Nomura MF as its Chief Executive Officer, said two people familiar with the development. The fund house is expected to get an official confirmation on the appointment of Saroj by June 30.

    Saroj is likely to succeed Nilesh Sathe who has been appointed as the Member (Life) at IRDAI. In a PTI report published in ‘Economic Times’ newspaper, Sathe said, “I received my appointment letter to work as member, life, at IRDAI on June 12 and will be assuming my new assignment on July 1.”

    Saroj has over 32 years of experience in the insurance industry. She joined LIC as a Direct Recruit Officer in 1983. During her stint at LIC, she held key positions like Zonal Manager, Chief of Micro Insurance Department, Grievance Redressal Officer and Executive Director.

    Saroj holds Bachelor’s Degree in Arts and Master’s Degree in Economics from Mumbai University. She has completed PG Diploma in Advanced Marketing from International Institute of Indian Advance Marketing (IIAM). She has a law degree from Mumbai University.

    Saroj is likely to take her charge from next month.
