    Know the ETFs with highest 1-year average trading volume

    Nippon India Mutual Fund has the highest 1-year trading volume across all ETF categories.

    The Cafemutual Ready Reckoner on ETFs shows that Nippon India Mutual Fund has the highest 1-year average trading volume across ETF categories. Out of 9 ETF categories, Nippon India Mutual Fund has the highest 1-year trading volume in 7 ETF categories - large cap, mid cap, target maturity, liquid, gold, silver and sectoral/thematic.

    1-year average trading volume is calculated by the average value of trades in a year divided by the number of days in the trading cycle. Trading volume indicates the liquidity and number of investors. The higher the trading volume, the better the liquidity of the fund.

    Starting with large cap ETFs, Nippon India ETF Nifty 50 BeES has the highest 1-year average trading volume of Rs. 62.44 crore, followed by SBI Nifty 50 ETF with Rs. 25.29 crore and ICICI Prudential Nifty 50 ETF with Rs. 6.28 crore.

    In mid cap funds, Nippon India ETF Nifty Midcap 150 tops the list with 1-year average trading volume of Rs. 5.02 crore. Mirae Asset Nifty Midcap 150 ETF and Motilal Oswal Nifty Midcap 100 ETF take the next two spots with 1-year average trading volume of Rs.1.83 crore and Rs.1.03 crore respectively.

    Similarly, Nippon India ETF Nifty Bank BeES has the highest 1-year trading volume of Rs. 31.40 crore under the sectoral/thematic category, followed by Nippon India ETF Nifty IT and Nippon India ETF Nifty PSU Bank BeES with 1-year trading volume of Rs. 17.92 and Rs.16.20 crore, respectively.

    ICICI Prudential Nifty 100 Low Volatility 30 ETF tops the factor category, BHARAT Bond ETF - April 2030 takes a lead in the target maturity category and Nippon India ETF Nifty 5 yr Benchmark G-Sec leads the debt category.

    Further, Nippon India ETF Nifty 1D Rate Liquid BeES ETF has the highest 1-year trading volume of Rs. 271.42 crore among liquid ETFs. ICICI Prudential S&P BSE Liquid Rate ETF and DSP NIFTY 1D Rate Liquid ETF follow this with 1-year trading volume of Rs. 54.15 crore and Rs 43.76 crore, respectively taking second and third spot in the liquid category.

    Lastly, Nippon India ETF Gold BeES has the highest 1-year trading volume of Rs. 22.07 crore under gold ETFs, Nippon India Silver ETF has the highest 1-year trading volume of 17.53 crore under silver ETFs and Motilal Oswal NASDAQ 100 ETF tops the international category of funds.
