Mutual fund investors will not have to navigate through the asset management company's website any more to locate their scheme's portfolio. The capital market regulator, Securities and Exchange Board of India (Sebi), issued a circular on June 5, asking fund houses to send the portfolio statement via email to its unit holders on a monthly basis. It had given AMCs 30 days to implement the new guidelines pertaining to the information dissemination to the investors.
