    Sebi is focusing on the cost structure of mutual funds, concerned as it is about the high expense ratios of several schemes, particularly regular plans. Reports say Sebi is also probing the narrow difference in expense ratio of regular and direct plans of some fund houses. So are direct plan investors not getting the entire benefit of lower costs they are supposed to?

    SEBI is just focussing on the costs. While the benefits given by advisors are totally ignored.

    We are following Airline industry, where the AMC and Distributors will fail to make profits. Clients may have to be happy with modest returns.
