    Coronavirus scare might lead to an unexpected rate cut by RBI. Following the footsteps of US Federal Reserve, the Indian banking regulator may also cut policy rates soon, say money market participants. The US Fed has slashed policy rates by a surprise 50 basis points (100 basis points = 1%) on Tuesday to contain the threat posed by the discovery of more virus cases to the global economy.
