It is fair to assume that recovery in 2021-22 will not be uniform. Some hard hit sectors will take more time, while most will come back to about 70-80% levels, Neelesh Surana, CIO, Mirae Asset Investment Managers India tells ET Wealth.

The interest rate impacts equity markets in three ways- it helps improve demand in rate-sensitive sectors (post lockdown), helps improve cash flows and the price to earnings ratio multiples are also a function of interest rates, says CIO, Mirae Asset Investment Managers India.
