    Worst may be over for India credit funds, says Navneet Munot

    Munot said the market witnessed its ‘Minsky Moment’ earlier this year with the onset of Covid and with Templeton shutting down some of its funds.

    The worst may be over for the Indian credit funds industry, and improvement in the macroeconomic indicators should gradually lead to more inflows to these funds, says Navneet Munot, CIO, SBI Mutual Fund. “At some point of time, when investors see an improvement in the macroeconomic situation, and the confidence returns, flows into credit funds will start, simply because the curve is so steep,” Munot said at the Morningstar Investor Conference.
