Whenever market surges after a big drop, investors pull out: Dhirendra Kumar

What do you think is going on with equity mutual funds? How would you decode the mutual fund outflows?
We are seeing a pattern but I do not think we should be really decoding that. The pattern is that till March or till April-May, equity mutual funds have witnessed a continuous inflow and a sizable one at that. A lot of investors came initially to equity funds in 2018 and 2019 and saw the value dropping in March. So these new investors might be exiting equity funds.
