In an another exam of ‘Plan Big and Think Bold’, two Surat based advisors Keyur Mehta and Krunal Mehta of Mehta Fincon will hold an investor awareness program for HNIs titled Mehta Fincon Global Investor Conference (MFGIC) on January 6, 2018.
The event aims to add value to their HNIs clients and prospects by providing knowledge and getting them to interact with leading fund officials. In this half-day event, industry experts like Vishal Kapoor, CEO, IDFC Mutual Fund, Saurabh Nanavati, CEO, Invesco Mutual Fund, S. Krishnakumar, CIO of Sundaram AMC, Ravi Gopalakrishnan, CIO, Canara Robeco Mutual Fund, David Gunderson, Principal & Executive VP, US Freedom Capital will speak on financialization of investments and share their insights on wealth creation.
Sharing the rationale for holding this conference, Krunal Mehta said, “The whole idea of MFGIC emerged from one thought i.e. ‘Think Big Concept’. I have been attending different industry events and conferences. Most events focus on retail investors. There is no event for HNIs. Hence, we come out with MFGIC with an aim to provide knowledge to HNIs and Ultra HNIs who hold a good share in the Industry AUM. The aim is to develop a direct connection between investors and fund managers. Also, when we educate them about the wealth creation process through such events, it becomes easy for them to take informed investment decisions.”
Keyur Mehta told Cafemutual that this is the second edition of MFGIC. The first edition had received overwhelming response from investors. “This year, we are expecting over 500 participants including HNIs, Ultra HNIs and NRIs of South Gujarat. The attendees of the last MFGIC are eager to be a part of the event once again. In fact, they are also giving many references.”
Talking about the event, he said, there would be panel discussions, keynote speakers, one-on-one conversations, Q&A sessions, polling and quiz. To create a buzz for the event, Mehtas have created a mobile app and created a Facebook page to keep the participants updated on events.
