The MFD couple Prashant Joglekar and Vaishali Joglekar of Chalisgaon, a small town in Maharashtra encouraged prospects and clients to start saving for their children education by screening a movie.
The couple MFD organised two screenings of ‘Ekda Kaay Zala’ (Once upon a time), a Marathi movie which talks about father-son relationship.
Incidentally, the protagonist child actor ‘Arjun Purnapatre’ is the son of one of Prashant and Vaishali’s clients. Post the screening, the couple invited Arjun and his family to share how they helped Arjun achieve his goals by investing prudently in mutual funds.
Sharing the rationale, Prashant said that the activity aims to highlight importance of doing SIPs to fund children education. “We all know about education inflation. Many parents face difficulty in funding higher education of their children. However, if they start putting even a small amount in solution-oriented funds through SIPs, their children can get higher education at desired college or university.”
Talking about the activity, Prashant further added, “We organised first screening for policemen to pay them respect on the occasion of the 75th Independence Day. We approached Thana Incharge (TI) to organise this screening. The second screening was for our existing clients. Overall, over 150 people attended the screening.”
