The Board of Governors of the Indian Institute of Management (IIM), Shillong has appointed MFD Vijaye Bawri as a part of a three-member review committee (Independent Agency).
The committee is constituted to review the performance of the IIM Shillong including its faculty members on the parameter of long-term strategy and rolling plan of the institute.
The other two members include Professor Shekhar Chaudhuri, Former Director, IIM Calcutta and Jahnabi Phookan, Former National President, FICCI FLO.
Vijaye of Bawri Finserv, Shillong MFD said, “I will be closely working with the other two members to make a detailed report on the overall performance and scope of improvement.”
Notably, the MFD is also on the Governing Body of Assam Don Bosco University, Guwahati for the last fifteen years. He said, “Active involvement in the education sector could probably be one of the reasons for my appointment at IIM. And, I shall continue to work towards providing quality education to our children.”
