Deoria MFD Amit Srivastava has launched his first book ‘Mutual Fund: Try Kia Kya?’.
Talking about the rationale for writing the book, Amit said, “In my view, a book can help people learn concepts at their convenience. Also, I wrote this book to increase my credibility and establish my expertise among people.”
The book aims to make readers comfortable with mutual funds by explaining the basics in simple language. It covers relevant concepts like returns, NAV and taxation to familiarise readers with the functioning of mutual funds. Amit said, “The book covers a host of topics through chapters. In fact, I explain brief concepts like NAV or SIP through a dedicated chapter.”
Amit believes that the book serves as a concise guide to mutual funds and is suitable for all readers.
Interestingly, ‘Mutual Fund: Try Kia Kya?’ also talks about exploring mutual fund distribution as a career option.
“The distributor count is low and we need a larger army to take mutual funds to the masses. The book is a modest attempt to encourage budding entrepreneurs to take up mutual fund distribution”, said Amit.
The book runs a little over 100 pages and is available on Amazon for Rs. 338 only.
