Combination of Garma garam Bhajiyas and Chai is a perfect recipe for happy monsoon. But what if we tell you that Bhajiyas can be used to strengthen relationship with clients and get some referrals.
Rajkot MFD Mukeshbhai Jetani holds Bhajiya and Rabri Jalebi party for his clients every year since 2019 (barring covid years).
Every year on December 31, Mukeshbhai and his team invite all their clients along with their friends and family members to simply enjoy Rajkot’s winter with steaming hot Bhajiyas and Rabri-Jalebi.
Interestingly, Mukeshbhai does not talk about business at these parties. His focus is on strengthening his relationship with clients and prospects.
Talking to Cafemutual, Mukeshbhai said, “Over 1,500 clients along with their friends and relatives join us every year for our Bhajiya party. We engage in casual conversations. Our no-business policy at informal events like these establishes a different bond and makes investors feel like a part of one big family. Interestingly, it generates some quality references as well. Barring the pandemic, we have been conducting the bhajiya party since 2009 in a nearby community hall. The next gathering will be on December 31, 2023, and we eagerly look forward to meeting our entire investor family under one roof.”
The MFD started his journey in 2006 and currently caters to over 2,000 retail clients of which over 50% have stayed with him for more than a decade. Mukeshbhai manages AUM of over Rs.100 crore.
