Meet Shah, Gandhinagar
Second generation Gandhinagar MFD Meet Shah, Aster Assets organized a SIP drive to commemorate the opening of their office at Gandhinagar during the festive season. This drive resulted in SIP investment of Rs.8.3 lakh, with 151 SIPs with 138 investors, of which 20 were new. Notably, 115 of these SIPs were processed online, while the remainder were processed offline.
Meet and his team of 4 focussed on existing clients and recommended changes to the portfolios. They would call and meet up clients. They were able to attract 20 new clients through referrals.
Sachin Kharate, Varad Financial Services, Nasik
Nasik MFD Sachin Kharate, Varad Financial Services registered 430 sips amounting to Rs 11.8 lakh through his recent SIP drive. A total of 250 people registered SIPs, of which 40 were from first time investors.
Sachin’s team of 5 reached out telephonically to over 600 clients. He also used social media channels like Facebook and WhatsApp to promote the event. He says, “I used to post about the SIP drive on my phone status on WhatsApp and broadcast groups and got positive response from these sites. People would see my status and respond back to enquire about the drive.”
Dikshant Pande, Wealth Growth Financial Services, Nasik
Nasik MFD Dikshant Pande registered 200 SIPs amounting to a total of Rs.5 lakh. Of the 200 clients, 15 were new. Dikshant called the SIP drive ‘Muhuryta Guntavnuk’ or ‘Auspicious beginning of investment’ which was apt for the festive season.
His team of 2 carried out the entire preparation for the drive in about 30 days. They reviewed the existing portfolio of clients and suggested relevant changes to them.
He also utilized social media to make the people aware of the event and tell them more about the importance of investment. He says,” I posted twice in a week to accelerate the momentum for the drive.”
Mitesh Chand, Raashi Investment, Raipur
Raipur MFD Mitesh Chand registered 115 SIPs on Dhanteras. 70 individuals participated in the drive which generated Rs.2.9 lakh.
Mitesh credits the success to IAPs which helped him get most of clients. He and his brother Nilesh held a couple of IAPs before the drive where they got 40 new clients. Apart from this, they also called up the existing clients and reached out to them personally to ensure maximum participation.
Naresh Kumar, Madhubani, Bihar
Naresh Kumar, Madhubani organized an SIP drive where 55 people registered, of which 15 were first time investors. 68 SIPs amounting to over Rs.1.59 lakh were registered.
Most of the clients who participated were from Madhubani and Naresh went door- to- door to meet each and every client to spread awareness about the drive. He and his wife worked day and night for 15 days to make the drive a success on Dhanteras. He says, “My wife convinced many women clients to start investing for the first time.”
