Rahul Patil of Moneyguru Investment, Jalgaon has been funding living expenses and education of 35 underprivileged, differently abled and orphan children. Over the last seven years, he along with his wife Deepali extended financial support to 5 children on their marriage anniversary.
Also, the couple celebrate festivals like Diwali and Holi with these 35 children every year.
Rahul told Cafemutual that the couple spends Rs.8 lakh per year to support these children financially. He said, “These children are either orphan or they are differently abled. God is very kind to me and I have been grateful to earn adequate money through my financial distribution business. In my view, Rs.1 lakh per month is more than enough for a family in Jalgaon. Hence, I donate the rest towards charity and help needy people.”
In another noble cause, Rahul extended support to three families who had lost their breadwinner due to covid. While he set up tailoring outfits for two families, he helped a youth set up pani puri stall in Jalgaon.
Talking about this, Rahul said, “All three breadwinners were my clients. However, they did not have substantial savings that can take care of their respective families. Hence, I and my wife encouraged the two women to become self-sufficient. We funded training fee for tailoring and helped them set up tailoring shops. We also did some marketing activities for both of them. Today, both the families are well settled and they offer employment to other women who had lost their husbands. In another incident, an 18-year-old boy lost his mother. His father died long back. Since he wasn’t educated, we recommended him to set up a pani puri stall in Jalgaon.”
