Two MFDs - Mehul Trivedi of ShriMoneyMatters from Mahua, Bhavnagar, Gujarat and Tushar Badjate from Badjate Stock & Shares in Nagpur, Maharashtra conducted successful SIP drives.

Mehul Trivedi
Mehul got inspiration to conduct a SIP drive after reading success stories on SIP drives by other MFDs on Cafemutual. He implemented two learnings from these articles – giving a theme to his drive and conducting awareness programs.
Mehul carried out his SIP drive during Republic Day and gave a theme of financial freedom to his drive. He encouraged prospective clients to start SIP to attain financial freedom.
He met prospective clients through IAPs and referrals. He started doing awareness sessions and meeting prospects from the beginning of January to get adequate time to acquire clients for his SIP drive.
Overall, Mehul registered 105 SIPs in a single day in which 92 investors participated. Of this, 85 were new clients who came from referrals and IAP sessions.
Tushar Badjate
Tushar started preparing for his SIP drive one year in advance. He did 50 investor seminars throughout the year for his SIP drive.
In these sessions, he made prospective clients aware of the benefits of SIPs.
In addition, Tushar attributes the success of the drive to his team who helped to collect data of these investors and followed up regularly. He said majority of business was converted by non-sales team.
Tushar also reached out to his existing clients who had not increased their investment for some time to encourage them to start SIP.
Overall, 547 investors opened their SIP accounts in a single day through Tushar. While 272 clients were new, his existing clients did rest of SIPs. He received AUM of Rs.18 lakh through this SIP drive.
