Recently, Surat MFD Nihar Shah conducted a SIP drive. What made this drive unique was Nihar’s pledge to plant one tree for every SIP drive participant.
As part of ‘Let’s celebrate Independence Day as SIP day’ initiative, Nihar has booked 221 SIPs from 128 investors in a single day.
Referring to equity SIP as a sapling, Nihar explained to his clients that how patience and discipline could help it grow and become a tree (sizeable corpus).
100 trees will be planted on behalf of investors who participated in the drive. After the plantation, every investor will receive a certificate.
“Through this initiative, I strive to contribute to environmental sustainability. Also, to ensure every tree receives the required attention and care, the initiative has been launched in association with Grow-Trees.com”, shared Nihar. He has set aside his personal funds for meeting the costs associated with the plantation and growth of saplings.
Nihar told Cafemutual that he would plant saplings in West Bengal and Madhya Pradesh.
