MFD Amit Charadava of Jash Consultancy, Junagadh, Gujarat has launched ‘Shravan Vaccination Yatra’, especially for elderly and differently-abled people.
While there are many vaccination centres in Junagarh, elderly and differently-abled people find it difficult to visit vaccination centres for covid-19 vaccine. Realizing this, Amit decided to offer door-to-door services to such individuals through his initiative ‘Shravan Vaccination Yatra’.
Amit launched this initiative on September 25, 26 and 27, 2021. He promoted it through local news channel, Facebook and WhatsApp. Overall, over 270 elders and differently-abled people have benefited from this initiative.
Amit took help of local authorities, municipal corporation staff and social volunteers to execute this drive.
Talking about his initiative, Amit said, “My goal is to ensure that each and every individual gets vaccinated in this fight against covid-19.”
In addition to ‘Shravan Vaccination Yatra’, Amit has also launched a nine-day vaccination where any individual can walk-in to avail covid-19 vaccine.
