2 MFDs independently conduct the first successful drive of 2022

Mithilesh Singh and Vijay Gupta clocked more than 100 SIPs on January 3, 2022.

Mithilesh Singh from Jharkhand and Vijay Kumar Gupta started the new year by booking more than 100 SIPs in their recent drives.

Sharing their success story with Cafemutual, the new SIP heroes walked us through their journey and told us how they executed their drives. Interestingly, since January 1 and January 2 fell on a weekend, they utilised them wisely for their preparation.

    Mithilesh Singh, Ranchi, Jharkhand

Mithilesh made a list of existing clients who had not increased their SIPs over the last two years. He also approached a few people through referrals.

He met existing clients and referrals and explained to them the importance of SIPs and how increasing the SIP amount can help them achieve financial goals faster.

Fearing that many people would be holidaying in the first week of January and hence may not be available on the drive day, Mithilesh collected all the necessary documents beforehand. After collecting the documents from his clients, he burnt the midnight oil to fill the forms and ensure all details were in order.

Overall, Mithilesh registered 114 SIPs (97 physical and 17 online) on January 3, 2022 for Rs. 2.05 lakh. A total of 65 clients participated in this drive, of which 29 were new clients.

    Vijay Gupta, Indore, Madhya Pradesh

Vijay is an avid reader of Cafemutual’s success stories, which inspired him to plan his first drive.

He held his drive on Jan 3, 2022 and registered 151 SIPs of Rs. 4.60 lakh. Vijay currently follows a conventional business setup and executed the drive physically.

Vijay called up existing clients and fixed physical meetings. He met at least 10 clients each day to understand their current financial needs and helped them to set their financial goals. Likewise, he also fixed meetings with referrals. Interestingly, to spread the word, he spoke about the drive with every single person he met including his dentist, whom he had visited for dental treatment.

Vijay’s persistent efforts and regular follow-ups helped him onboard 15 new clients. Additionally, 65 existing investors also took part in the drive.
