D.Muthukrishnan (@dmuthuk)
I follow the bigwigs of the financial industry, like Dr.Sanjay Bakshi (@Sanjay__Bakshi), Debashis Basu (@Moneylifers ) and Jason Zweig (@jasonzweigws). Most of the people I follow are think-tanks of the finance world. I enjoy following posts of various thought leaders; this gives me access to interesting stats, data, I also enjoy reading their commentary on events.
I am not interested in the day-to-day market updates. I look forward to different schools of thought, opinions, blogs etc. In this regard, Morgan Housel (@morganhousel), Ben Carlson (@awealthofcs ) and Professor Sanjay Bakshi (@Sanjay__Bakshi) are three people whose tweets I always look forward to.

I mainly follow various general and financial news platforms. I also follow influential bloggers and thinkers, who might not necessarily belong to the world of finance. I occasionally follow posts on sports and entertainment too.
I feel that by following such a mixed bag of intellectuals, I can expand my horizon. I follow both international and national thought leaders so that I get to understand not just what is prevalent in our context but also what practices people are following around the world. This includes insights on policy changes, business practices and behavioural insights among other things.
I look forward to posts from P V Subramanyam (@subramoney) as I enjoy reading his commentary and blogs. I also follow posts from Moneylife (@MoneylifeIndia ) as I get updates on personal finance along with a broad spectrum of related topics.
