IIFL AMC has invested Rs.40 crore in White Owl – a beer brand through IIFL India Private Equity Fund.
With this investment, White Owl has raised Rs. 70 crore till date. While Owl manufactures premium craft beer in India for its growing millennial consumer base.
In a press release, Prashasta Seth, Senior Managing Partner at IIFL Asset Management said, “It’s remarkable to see how White Owl has expanded beyond just a single point of sale in Mumbai to over 2,500 bars and wine shops across the country in just a few years.”
Launched in 2018, IIFL India Private Equity Fund is a close-ended category-II AIF. The fund focuses on professional entrepreneurs in sectors such as financial services, consumer, healthcare and technology.
