    Here is the one-year performance of long-short AIFs

    Currently, there are 12 long short AIFs in India.

    Edelweiss AMC’s long short fund ‘Alternative Equity Scheme’ has delivered the highest one year CAGR of 7.15%, shows the latest performance data by PMS Bazaar.

    Of the 12 funds that follow long-short strategy i.e. combination of both cash and derivatives, PMS Bazaar has listed out performance of seven AIFs. Interestingly, of the seven AIFs on PMS Bazaar, six long short funds are offered by AMCs having mutual fund business – Edelweiss, IDFC, ITI and Tata.

    The other products that gave above 5% return were Tata’s Absolute Return Scheme and ITI’s ITI Long short Equity Fund.

    Varanium Capital Advisors ranked sixth in the list with 0.40% one year return.
